Gorham Adult Education

Come learn the essential skills and knowledge the novice kayaker or “never been before but always wanted to try it” paddler needs for recreational kayaking. In a one day on-the-water instruction, we will cover a variety of kayaking fundamentals from safety equipment, rescue techniques, smooth entering and exiting, to weather and water conditions, and more. Learn the basic types of kayaks and how to select the one that is best for you. Kayaks and PFD’s for all on-the-water instruction will be provided. Co-owners of Sebago Trails Paddling Company, Bill and daughter Katelyn, have over 30 years of paddling experience and instruction between them. All classes will be held at Sebago Trails Paddling Co., 1311 Roosevelt Trail, Raymond.
