Join us for this educational and interactive workshop as Back in Motion Physical Therapy’s Mary Kroth-Brunet teaches you the best core strengthening moves that give you the biggest bang for your buck. Appropriate for beginners to advanced exercisers. You will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of class. Mary Kroth-Brunet, MS, PT, has been a physical therapist treating LBP for over 30 years. Her expertise in helping others comes from her ability to simplify information into applicable tools for everyone. She has taught courses in LBP for over 20 years all over the world. What kind of tree is that? Is that an invasive plant growing in my yard? We'll answer these and other questions during our hike at the Tannery Brook Preserve. Join the Gorham Conservation Commission and the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust as we learn about native and non-native plants found in Gorham. You'll also see and learn the history of the old dam at Tannery Brook. Those that want to lend a helping hand can bring hand pruners to help widen the trails while we explore. Trails are easy to moderate and our course is roughly 1.5 miles long. Sunscreen, insect repellent, proper footwear and water are recommended. Open to all ages. Saturday, September 16th (rain date: Sunday, September 17th), 10am-12:00pm, Tannery Brook Preserve Students should meet in the parking area located behind Gorham Savings Bank Operations Center – Wentworth Drive Fee: no charge

She is committed to providing functional strengthening to all ages and ability levels. Through the 6 weeks you will learn to build stamina and safely transition between poses.
